I love to braid - it’s really no secret. If you’ve looked through my instagram, saw my hair wrapped up in a braid in real life, or been one of the long haired strangers I’ve randomly walked up to and asked to braid their hair…you know, braiding makes me happy.
My favorite thing about braids is that it can quickly - without hot tools - make it look like you actually did your hair. When in reality maybe you were having one of those mornings where your coffee spills everywhere, you have no clean clothes, you can’t find your concealer to hide that new blemish, and you need to leave in 10 minutes to make it to work on time. Tell me I’m not the only one with mornings like this!?!
If this is sounding all too familiar, I want to share with you one of my go to hairstyles.
Truthfully, it takes me about 5-7 minutes to do this braid style (the more you practice- the quicker you’ll get too) Once my hair is done I get to pour fresh NEW cup of coffee, in a to go cup - with a lid (no spilling this time) and I’m out the door for work. The 10 minutes countdown to leave on time - no longer seems as stressful.
