Guys, how many COVID-19 Coronavirus emails do you think you’ve gotten by now? I know I’ve been getting updates from companies I didn’t even know had my email address! I guess it’s better to be safe than sorry right?

This is not something I EVER imagined having to deal with in life, or in business ~ but here we are. So, I want to give you peace of mind about visiting The Studio over the next few weeks. I don’t want to come to you as just another business bombarding your inbox, but as your Stylist - who you spend hours with on a regular basis, who cares about you, your health and your family.

I’ve been googling like a man woman - frequenting sites like State of Nevada, Washoe County Health Department, NV State Board of Cosmetology, City of Sparks, the CDC and have been in direct contact with the Sierra Salon Suites building owner to get the most current information about keeping us both safe during this uncharted time.

None of these departments have recommended nor mandated the closure of beauty salons, 1:1 Client & Service Provider appointments, or Private Business. Now, more than ever I feel SO blessed that our time together in The Studio is one on one and we aren’t in a Public space.

In addition to current industry standard level of cleaning & sanitization on all equipment + surfaces using hospital grade disinfectant before / after each appointment; I am taking additional precautions to sanitize door handles, light switches, salon chairs, stations, phones for checking out, and frequently touched surfaces before and after your appointment.

The Sierra Salon Suites building has increased the amount of times the cleaning staff is coming in to sanitize and clean the common areas like the lobby and restrooms.

The Nevada State Board of Cosmetology will continue making its rounds, as usual, ensuring each Stylist is upholding all sanitization laws.

The Suites have recommended that all guests remain in your car until your appointment time - skip waiting in the lobby all together, and come on back to The Studio directly.

To ensure health and safety we must keep our appointments one on one. Please come to your appointment alone.

When you come into The Studio you’ll be greeted with the aroma of Lemon Scented Bleach disinfectant where we will promptly wash our hands, together - and sanitize our phones!

Complementary Food & Refreshments will be put on pause at this time as an EXTRA precaution.

In addition to being ever mindful the appointment cancellation fee will be waived if you have: a compromised immune system, are showing any symptoms of illness such as: runny nose, fever, cough, sore throat, or any flu/cold like symptoms, have been in contact with anyone having these symptoms, have traveled within 2 weeks of your appointment, or otherwise feel uncomfortable and choose to practice complete social distancing. If any of these apply to you, I’d be happy to accommodate you with a new appointment time for a later date - PLEASE reach out.

It is my commitment to stay current on this ever changing situation, and know that at any moment things may change. I vow to respond immediately & accordingly. I am healthy + happy and will remain open my during normal business hours . My hope is that this finds you in good spirits and good health as well! Health + Safety are the MAIN priority. It is my pleasure to continue serving you during this dynamic situation and hope that the Rose Golde Extension Studio can still be a place of peace, relaxation and a moment of self care for you.

xo babes~

Courtney
